After the firmware download is possible to jailbreak and Unlock iPhone to 4.2.6 Verizon
At this point we wonder why a different firmware for Verizon?
The protection is equal to AT & T? or more will be ‘easy to unlock ?
Now the real question is that whether iOS 4.2.6 is vulnerable to Geohot’s Limera1n exploit or not?

so… (i’m an average techy who is still fairly a noob to jailbreaking) I just got my verizon Iphone which has 4.2.6 and in order to jail break it i need to downgrade it or wait to see if someone creates the jailbreaking code right? and from what is written above 4.2.6 is kinda a surprise version for verizon only? and therefore can’t just downgrade and need to wait for a jailbreak exploit?

I have just jail broke my iPhone 4.2.6 using Green-polish but as yet it cant be unlocked to be used with any carrier.
Saying that I did find a link on YouTube, that I successful used to unlock it so it can be used on the Metro pcs network.
