Definitive Guide: Blackra1n problems with iPhone 3G
I have faced several problems Blackra1n, GeoHot program that allows you to jailbreak iPhone and iPod Touch to firmware version 3.1.2. Some users, however, have found many problems with iPhone 3G. In this post we see ways to solve the problem and make the jailbreak on iPhone 3G Blackra1n.
1) Sometimes happens that blackra1n not start in Windows because it conflicts with the iTunes program.
To solve this problem open the Task Manager in Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7.
Use the key combination Ctrl + Alt + Delete, then select the processes tab, select and terminate running processes iTunes.exe and iTunesHelper.
After closing processes start Blackra1n and click on Make it Ra1n

after downloading Blackra1n, copy the file in the directory in windows blackra1n.exe “C: /”
Turn off the phone (iPhone 3G) and keep the USB cable connected to your PC and iPhone.
Start Blackra1n and press the “Make it Ra1n”
Turn iPhone 3G using the HOLD button and wait until you start.

Connect your iPhone 3G to the PC. close itunes and click on “Make it Ra1n” software.
If your iPhone 3G hangs in Recovery Mode, and blackra1n remains in “running”, do not close Blackra1n, turn off your iPhone with the keys Home + Hold
The program will say that the jailbreak has been completed, but in reality is not so ‘.
this point
1) Close Blackra1n.
2) Reopen Blackra1n.
3) Click Make it Ra1n us
4) Turn on your iPhone 3G
At this point, the program recognizes iPhone 3G and should complete the Jailbreak!

i have iphone 3g and i unlocked it using blackra1n but the mobile doesnot recognise my sim after jailbreaking please suggest something…..i have so many ways like downloading bossprefs and so but none are helping

Iphone 3.1.3 in itunes/usb mode on the screen. it tells only emergency calls can be made. do not have AT&T simcard. Is this blackra1n software can still be used to jailbreak and unlock. Please advise how can i unlock my phone to use it with other carrier. I am in finland and no access to AT&T. It’s completely no go for me.
im trying to jailbreak a 3g iphone with 3.1.3 software. all the steps are going through, its rebooting but the black rain app is not appearing on the phone.

hi ive downloaded this and phone is connected to the comp, its been now for 15 mins and pressed make it rain and its still saying waiting on device, what do i do please?
So I JB my phone, installed cydia, sn0w, etc, It read my tmobile card. then as an idiot that i am, i went and did the apple update. Phone was unusable. so I did a complete restore on my phone, downgraded the firmware, JB’d it w/blackra1n, installed cydia, but now the sn0w wont read my tmobile sim card. Any help would be great! thanks.
