1. Fix Cydia Crash using Clear Cydia Cache Tool
Download the Clear Cydia Cache tool from here, and then follow the steps below

1.Extract or uncompress the files
2.Open the ClearCydiaListCache file
3.Connect your iPod touch or iPhone to your computer

Alternatively, if you have apt7 installed, you may simply run the following code

(Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007E)” so i installed the old iTunesMobileDevice.dll (the file he said to use in Fahar’s comment. so i did that. i put all three files in together, and now i got a different message saying, “couldn’t initiate process: {0}AMDeviceNotificationSubscribe Failed with error -402653180″ so now what do i do?

    can anyone help? hambuglarmike@aol.com

  15. TanKCR says:

So just like many other users I am getting “couldn’t initiate process: {0}AMDeviceNotificationSubscribe Failed with error -402653180″ I was hoping it was something simple like needing to be run as an admin, or possibly setting compatibility mode, but none of these worked. I have been Googling this for about 30 mins now, and no one seems to have the fix, possibly the app needs to be updated, especially considering that it requires the old dll file. Not sure, but I will keep looking and post the fix if I ever find it…
